Sandie Penvose Greene, 45, of Lyons Street, Houston, died Monday, August 17, 1998, in her home, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Greene was the first female race announcer for a parimutuel harness track and had been employed by Ladbroke at the Meadows as an in-house track announcer. On June 21, 1981, she married Corwyn Greene, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Ashley Greene, and a son, Ryan Greene, both at home; and a sister, Bonnie Frameli of Rices Landing.
