William S. Zoric, 80, of Holbrook R.D.1, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, August 17, 1998, at home, following an 18-month illness. Mr. Zoric was Protestant and attended Holbrook Christian Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army, Company K, 110th Infantry; and was involved in campaigns in Normandy, northern France, South France, Rhineland and Andrennes. Mr. Zoric worked for Reed Engineering, and later at the feed mill with Waynesburg Milling, from which he retired in 1980. He was a farmer. He raised livestock and horses. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Mills Zoric, whom he married March 23, 1946; two sons, Mike Zoric of Peters Township and Steve Zoric of Fredericksburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Michelle, Brett, Sarah and Mary Zoric; and several nieces and nephews.
