Edith B. Clutter, 93, of Washington, formerly of Claysville, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 1998, in her home. She had been in failing health for the past year.

She was born July 1, 1905, in Donegal Township, Washington County, a daughter of David and Blanche Ferrell Reynolds.
Mrs. Clutter attended Claysville High School.
She was Protestant and a homemaker.
On September 14, 1926, she married Henry A. Clutter, who died September 5, 1980. A daughter, Marilyn Dreyer, died January 16, 1971.
Also deceased are two brothers, John and Gaylord Reynolds; and two sisters, Dorothy and Lucille Crothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine C. Miller of Claysville; four grandchildren, Joyce Reeves, Keith Dreyer, Rhonda Amos and Eric Dreyer; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
