Marjorie K. Osbourne, 77, of Hickory, died Wednesday, August 19, 1998, in Washington Hospital.

She was born March 29, 1921, in Boone, Iowa, a daughter of Bernard C. and Lillian McMahon Kelley.
Mrs. Osbourne was a member of Hickory United Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
She was a 1939 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School.
On October 3, 1942, she married Alvan D. Osbourne, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Alvan D. "Bud" Osbourne Jr. of Hickory; a daughter, Susan Osbourne McCarthy of Columbus, Ga.; five grandchildren, Alexander A. D. Osbourne, Brandon K. Stewart, Cara S. Lawton, Brian, Emilie D. and Elizabeth M. McCarthy; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
