Dr. Umberto A. DeRienzo, 70, of Charleroi, died Thursday, August 20, 1998, at his home. Mr. DeRienzo had a medical practice in Charleroi for about 38 years. His wife, Angela Mariani DeRienzo, survives. Also surviving are five sons, Damian DeRienzo of Washington, D.C., Dr. Umberto DeRienzo of Canonsburg, Dante DeRienzo of San Diego, Calif., David DeRienzo of Finleyville and Philip DeRienzo at home; five daughters, Maria Lisa Brun of West Newton, Diane McCree of Charlotte, N.C., Regina Stefan of Charleroi, Angela Serrao of Rostraver and Christine DeRienzo of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Marion DeRienzo of Fayette City and Philip DeRienzo of Donora; and seven grandchildren.
