Cynthia A. Bird, 44, of Bettendorf, Iowa, formerly of Waterloo, N.Y., and Washington, died Saturday, August 22, 1998, in Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, Iowa, following a lengthy illness. She was a member of Bettendorf Christian Church and a former member of New Song Christian Church, Bethel. Mrs. Bird was employed in the accounting department of Big River Equipment Co., Bettendorf. On December 12, 1992, in Washington, she married Jerry Allan Bird, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jay Tommasin of Bettendorf; two daughters, Renee Tommasin of Washington and Rhonda Tommasin of Bettendorf; two brothers, William Murray of Washington and David Murray of Uxbridge, Mass.; a sister, Debora Scott of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
