Keith L. Mavrich, 45, of Canonsburg, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals-Canonsburg. He was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg, where he was a member of St. Patrick Worship Site of St. Patrick Parish. Mr. Mavrich was a past director and member of Washington Harley-Davidson Owners Group and a member of Latrobe Harley-Davidson Owners Group. He also was a member of Blue Lodge 544 of Carnegie, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh, and the Syria Temple of Pittsburgh. A U.S. Navy veteran, he participated in fund-raising for the March of Dimes. Mr. Mavrich was employed by General Motors at the West Mifflin plant and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 544. He enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, golf, riding his motorcycle and spending time at the beach. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Susan L. Panyi Mavrich; two daughters, Heather and Holly of Chambersburg; three sisters, Mary Jo Porter of Uniontown, Maureen Bradshaw of Strabane and Janice Salisbury of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
