Capt. Bryan J. Shelleby, 25, of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, August 19, 1998, as a result of an aircraft crash off the coast of Florida. He was a graduate of Vincentian High School and a 1995 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, with a degree in policy and management. At the time of his death, he was in training as a U.S. Marine Corps pilot. Surviving are a sister, Jamye Beth Doerfler of Williamsburg, Va.; a maternal grandmother, Pat Lowe of Brighton Heights; and a paternal grandmother, Anna Shelleby of Brighton Heights.
