Thelma Mae Dewey, 88, of McDonald, died Monday, August 24, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Dewey was a dietary aide with Gladeaux Food Services at the former Greater Pittsburgh International Airport and at John J. Kane Hospital in Scott Township. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, McDonald. In September 1928, she married Joseph A. Dewey, who died October 1976. Surviving are two sons, Calvin Dewey of McDonald and Dennis Dewey of Midway; a daughter, Gloria J. Piazza of McDonald; two brothers, Edwin Stokes and William McClain, both of McDonald; two sisters, Eldmira Hannan and Vera Purdy, both of McDonald; four grandchildren, John Piazza, Laurrie Nemec, and James and Jeffrey Dewey; and three great-grandchildren.
