Donald A. Anderson, 60, of Crestview Estates, New Eagle, died Sunday, August 23, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mr. Anderson was a lifelong resident of the Monongahela-New Eagle area and was Methodist. He was a retired carpenter, with 31 years of service with the former Valley Home Improvements, Donora. Surviving are his wife, Homeretta Coates Anderson, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage on August 25, 1997; a daughter, Terry Sadler of New Eagle; two grandchildren, Brent and Brittany Sadler; five sisters, Victoria Barna of Florida, Ruth Williams of West Elizabeth, Donna DeBaptista of McKeesport, Bernadine Haney and Rosemarie Barna, both of New Eagle; and three brothers, Joseph and James Anderson, both of New Eagle and Harry Anderson of McKeesport. Deceased are a brother, Kenneth Anderson; and a sister, Mary Ann Kisner. Private services were held in Monongahela.
