Sarah Lade Berdine, 63, of Arden Road, Washington, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 1998, in her home, following a lengthy illness. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Meadows Catering Service. Mrs. Berdine was a member of Crossroads United Presbyterian Church. She was a 1953 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. On December 19, 1953, she married Glen Newton Berdine Sr., who died June 24, 1988. Surviving are four sons, Glen Newton Berdine Jr., at home, Ronald A. Berdine of Eighty Four, Kenneth N. Berdine of Washington, and Timothy E. Berdine, at home; three daughters, Jean Berdine of Washington, Judith and Patricia Berdine, both at home; a sister, Ethel Danley of Taylorstown; and four grandchildren, Scott, Michelle, Denise and Bradley Berdine.
