George Walter "Cyclone" McGary, 73, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 25, 1998, in his home, following a lengthy illness. Mr. McGary was a member of First Christian Church of Washington for more than 50 years. He attended Trinity High School and was a carpenter with Universal Cyclops, retiring in 1986. Mr. McGary served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a member of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and golfing. Surviving are a son, Kyle "Redcloud" McGary of Washington; a daughter, Rosanne M. Karnes of Scenery Hill; and one grandchild, Christopher M. Burt.
