Martha Pushey Chambola, 55, of Jefferson, died August 24, 1998, in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Sue Pushey. Mrs. Chambola was a member of Jefferson Presbyterian Church, where she was a former deacon and a member of the Women's Association. She lived most of her life in Jefferson and Mather. She was a tax collector in Morgan Township and had been a clerk at Herd's drugstore in Washington. Surviving are two daughters, Kim Cottle of Jefferson and Darlene Maley of Washington; a son, Dale Pushey of Jefferson R.D.1; five grandchildren, Andria Pushey, Dale Pushey, Hope Maley, Tyler Maley and Emily Cottle; a sister, Alberta Horner of Monroeville; and four brothers, Lloyd Boord of Rochester, Paul Boord, Kenneth Boord and Arleigh Boord, all of Carmichaels. Deceased are her first husband, Dale A. Pushey, who died July 30, 1977; her second husband, John L. Chambola, who died March 3, 1993; and one brother, Vernon Boord.
