Lillian L, Hawk, 91, of Greensboro R.D.1, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. Her husband, Harry W. "Bob" Hawk, died May 20, 1976. Surviving are two sons, Sam D. Hawk Sr. of Waynesburg and Sam D. Hawk Jr. of Kirtland, Ohio; two daughters, Geraldine C. Meese of Greensboro R.D.1, with whom she made her home, and Teri L. Carson of Waynesburg; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was born September 12, 1906, in Masontown, a daughter of Samuel D. and Janie Malone Simpson. Mrs. Hawk made her home in the Greensboro area all of her life. She was Methodist.
