U.S. Army veteran of World War II
Rudolph Milovac, 82, of Mather, died at 9 p.m. Monday, August 24, 1998, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

He was born October 31, 1915, in Cokeburg, a son of Josip and Sophia Bustich Milovac.
Mr. Milovac was a 1936 graduate of Jefferson Township High School and lived most of his life in the Jefferson and Mather areas.
He served in the U.S. Army in England during World War II, and with the 437th B Battery in Africa, Sicily and Italy. He was a member of the Filer-Sadlek American Legion Post 954 in Jefferson and also was a lifelong member of Croatian Fraternal Union in Cokeburg.
Mr. Milovac was employed by U.S. Steel at Mather Collieries.
He was a fisherman, nature lover and was a member of Izaak Walton League.
Mr. Milovac enjoyed singing. He sang at many weddings as well as with the Singing Church Men, and young people listened to his storytelling.
On July 4, 1947, he married Mary Hydak Milovac, who died March 12, 1985.
Surviving are a son, Gary G. Milovac of Waynesburg R.D.2; a granddaughter, Whitney Anne Milovac of Waynesburg; two sisters, Mary Terry and Angeline Searight, both of Mather; and a niece and three nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Edward Milovac.
At the request of the family, services and interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Izaak Walton League of Greene County, in care of George Misher, R.D.1 Rices Landing, PA 15357.
