Mabel V. Eddy, 44, of Waynesburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 26, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Eddy was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Waynesburg, where she graduated from Waynesburg High School. She attended First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg and served as a food bank volunteer at First Baptist Church. On November 14, 1973, she married John W. Eddy, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Keven Eddy, at home; a daughter, Felicia Eddy,at home; a granddaughter, Page E. Eddy; seven sisters, Martha Leah and Katherine Roberts, both of Waynesburg, Marsha Zimmerman of Kirby, Anna Darlene Eibling of Ohio, Peg Marie Wyatt of Fairmont, W.Va., Dixie Joyce Roberts of Mt. Morris and Karen Jo Roberts of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three brothers, Ulysses Grant Roberts Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and James and Charles Franklin Roberts, both of Waynesburg; and several cousins. Waynesburg resident volunteered at food bank
She was born April 9, 1954, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Agnes Jean Shriver Roberts of Waynesburg and the late Ulysses Roberts.
