Robert A. White, 74, of Somerset, formerly of Peters Township, died Wednesday, August 26, 1998. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was also a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church and Wesley Chapel of Rockwood. Surviving are his wife, Virginia A. Loth White; a daughter, Sherrill White of Peters Township; a son, Robert D. White of Hickory; eight grandchildren, Christian and Brandon Davis, Tyler, Robbie and Cameron Rose, Dillon and Dallas Sauers, and Erica White; and two nieces.
