Joseph J. Gubanic, 77, of Swissvale, died Friday, July 31, 1998, in Washington Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration of Pittsburgh and a member of St. Barnabas Church in Swissvale. Surviving are a brother, the Rev. Michael Gubanich of Ellsworth; two sisters, Ann Osley and Margaret Napolitan; and several nieces and nephews.
