Richard Stephen Fowler, 57, of Eighty Four, died at 8 p.m. Monday, August 3, 1998, in his home, following a brief illness. Mr. Fowler was a graduate of Fairmont High School in Dayton, Ohio, and served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1972 and in Korea from 1967-68. He was a horseman and an accomplished trapshooter. He was a member of Johnstown Saddle Club, Mountain Valley Trailriders and the National Rifle Association. During the past 28 years, he was a sales representative for Outdoor Sports Headquarters in the tri-state area. On January 17, 1976, in Washington, he married Helen JoAnn Sims, who survives.
