Michael P. Pitek Jr., 75, of Moon Township, formerly of Jefferson, Greene County, died Tuesday, August 4, 1998. Mr. Pitek served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked for 45 years for J&L Steel Co., Labelle Processing Co. and Kurtz Monument Co. Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie Basich Pitek; two sons, Michael P. Pitek III of Buffalo, N.Y., and Barry S. Pitek of Robinson Township; five grandchildren, Scott, Rachel, Christopher, Emily and Mary; two brothers, Andrew and John Pitek; and three sisters, Susan Senda, Margaret Ciervo and Elizabeth Harless. Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Paul and George Pitek; and three sisters, Mary Pitek, Anna Chmura and Helen Horwath.
