Steve G. Greza, 84, of Canonsburg, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 11, 1998, in Manor Care, McMurray.

He was born August 19, 1914, in Canonsburg, a son of George and Barbara Greza.
Mr. Greza lived his entire life in Canonsburg, where he was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and an usher there for many years.
He was a 1933 graduate of Canonsburg High School, where he was an outstanding basketball player.
Mr. Greza attended Washington and Jefferson College and various trade schools.
During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps.
Before his retirement in 1981, he was a supervisor in the paint shop at Fort Pitt Bridge Works in Canonsburg, where he worked for more than 30 years.
Mr. Greza enjoyed gardening.
On February 6, 1944, he married Anne Suska, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Stephen G. Greza Jr. of Morgantown, W.Va.; three daughters, Carole Ciccarelli of Woodbridge, Va., Barbara Murphy of McMurray and Nancy Minton of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Elizabeth Engel of Strabane and Margaret Pallette of Washington; eight grandchildren, Cristen Heidebrecht, Katie Gubbins, Colleen and Maureen Murphy, Lauren and Alex Minton and Lucas and Cameron Greza; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
