Gertrude Ruth Perry, 81, of Greensboro R.D.1 (Turkey Knob), died at 12:14 p.m. Friday, December 11, 1998, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and an active member of the Assemblies of God denomination. She resided in Swedesboro, N.J., until 1992, when she and her husband moved to Greensboro. Her husband, Lacie J. Perry, whom she married December 18, 1938, died June 6, 1995. Surviving are two sons, Carl W. Perry of Swedesboro and David L. Perry, with whom she made her home; six grandchildren, Diana Wood, Carla Parker, Deirdra Perry, Robert Perry, Matthew Perry and Mark Perry; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Barger of Canton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Junior Lacie Perry; a daughter, Joyce Ann Perry, who died in childhood; six brothers, Coy, William, Wilson, Joseph, Guy and Woodrow Belcher; and four sisters, Hessie, Kathleen and Beula Belcher, and Vannie Mays.
