Maxine M. Wood, 79, of 150 Bill George Drive, Waynesburg, died at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Washington Hospital, following a two-week illness. Mrs. Wood was a lifetime resident of Greene County, where she attended Holbrook Christian Church. She attended school in Jackson Township and was employed for 34 years as a garment worker at Greenway Manufacturing Co. Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Main Richards of Waynesburg; two grandsons, Rick and Michael Richards; three granddaughters, Cathi Rizor, Jeanie Patton and Peggie Richards; and seven great-grandchildren.
