Mike Modrick, 83, of Crucible, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Modrick lived in Crucible since 1925, and worked at Crucible Fuel Co. and Grumman Allied, Carmichaels. On June 27, 1936, he married Ada M. Buskirk, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John A. and Edward M. Modrick, both of Carmichaels, and Donald M. Modrick of San Antonio; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Dolly Cheshire; a son, Marvin Lee Modrick, who died in infancy; two sisters, Elizabeth and Margaret Kelley; and a brother, Carl Modrick.
