Paul "Nip" Vanzin, 80, of Muse, formerly of Beadling, died Tuesday, December 15, 1998, at his home. Mr. Vanzin was a steelworker for 40 years at Universal Cyclops, Bridgeville. During World War II, he served as a U.S. Army engineer. For many years, he played for the well-known Beadling soccer team. He was a member of the Italian Club in Bridgeville and Muse Italian Club, and enjoyed reading. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Pesa Vento; two sons David Vanzin of Franklin, Tenn., and Thomas Vanzin of Bernville; a sister, Mary Vanzin of Beadling; and a brother, Louis Vanzin of Upper St. Clair. Deceased are two sisters, Lena and Ann Vanzin; four brothers, Fred, Dan, Albert and John Vanzin; and two grandsons, Jacob and Domenic Vanzin.
