Betty Jo Land, 57, of Holiday, Fla., died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs, Fla. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, New Port Richey, Fla., and a member of its Chicken Soup Group. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Sanders of Prosperity, Kimberly Hempe of Holiday and Michelle Land of Washington; two brothers, Dallas and Melvin Glover, both of North Carolina; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, at First United Methodist Church, New Port Richey.
