Arnold V. King, 89, of Holbrook R.D.1, Pine Bank, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, following a lengthy illness. Mr. King attended Pine Bank United Methodist Church and had resided in Gilmore Township all of his life. He formerly was employed as a farm laborer for William "Hell-Bent" Lewis for several years and had served one term as road supervisor for Gilmore Township prior to his retirement. Mr. King was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in Waynesburg, and a former member of Knights of Pythias Lodge in Pine Bank. Mr. King was first married to Ardath Kiger, who died March 21, 1966, and later married Edna Louise Scott Graham, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Simpson of Newton Falls, Ohio; a son, Bill King of Andover, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Cassie Irey of Amity; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
