Lorraine G. Doak, 78, of Michigan Avenue, Washington, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, December 18, 1998, in Washington Hospital, following a six-month illness. Mrs. Doak was a homemaker. She was a member of Allison Avenue Baptist Church, Washington, and as a youth was a Methodist. On May 12, 1940, she married Boyd A. "Jack" Doak, who died October 3, 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Judith L. Kerns of Claysville; a brother, David C. Tate of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Laura Ferris of Fredericktown and Bonnie Kavaniz of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tim, Penny and Robin Kerns; and seven great-grandchildren.
