Helen Kominski, 86, who resided most of her life at the home of Buddy and Joyce Gregg of Eighty Four, died Thursday, September 17, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Kominski attended East Pike Run Township schools and was employed at the Brooklyn Naval Yard during World War II. She was later employed by Heinz Corp., Pittsburgh, and owned and operated 84 Fishing Lakes in Eighty Four for several years before retiring. Surviving are five sisters, Pauline Marshall, Frances Carey and Julie Witkus, all of Carrick, Tessie Sazichkas of Avalon and Ann Hold of Cortland, Ohio; two brothers, Phillip Witkus and Walter Witkus, both of Essex, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
