Albert E. McGinnis, 82, of Midway, formerly of McDonald, died Friday, December 18, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. McGinnis served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a tool and die maker for General Motors, Fisher Body Division, in West Mifflin for 30 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of UAW Local 7415. He was a member of Irons Memorial Church, McDonald, where he served as an elder, past trustee and past treasurer. On May 19, 1942, he married Freda E. Browett, who died July 30, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Wayne E. of Bridgeville, Gary E. of McDonald and Thomas E. of Midway; a sister, Virginia Yoho of Sacramento, Calif.; a stepbrother, Charles Smith of Weirton, W.Va.; two stepsisters, Helen Batic of McKees Rocks and Lorraine Deichler of Sacramento, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
