Carmie M. Montigny, 82, a resident of McMurray Hills Manor, McMurray, formerly of Canonsburg, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 1998, in McMurray Hills Manor. Mrs. Montigny was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Canonsburg and spent most of her life in Canonsburg. She was a switchboard operator at Canonsburg General Hospital for many years. She retired October 24, 1974, from the RCA plant in Meadow Lands, where she was an assembler for 25 years. Mrs. Montigny enjoyed listening to radio talk shows, solving crossword puzzles and writing poetry. Surviving are a sister, Nicolina Longo Miscio of Washington; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
