Ralph C. "Happy" Roupe Sr., 87, of Oak Hill Drive, Washington, died Friday, December 18, 1998, in Washington Hospital Mr. Roupe was employed for 43 years as a boiler fireman at Findlay Refractories until his retirement. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and pitching horseshoes, of which he was champion at College Field in the 1940s. He was a member of Christian Church of North America, Washington. On July 28, 1933, he married Anna Ward, who survives and with whom he celebrated their 65th anniversary with an open house. Also surviving are a daughter, Ellen Daly of Land O' Lakes, Fla., five grandchildren, Jodie, Christy Ann, Gregory, Tonya and Keith Roupe; three great-grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces. Deceased are a son Ralph C.
