Joseph Bedro, 88, of Valley View Road, Scenery Hill, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Bedro was a retired coal miner, having worked with Mathies Coal Co. for 43 years. He was a member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, Daisytown, and the California Eagles. On September 1930, he married Ella Nusida, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Dr. Joyce Brova of Scenery Hill; three grandchildren, Jacquelin and Victor J.
