Alberta Elizabeth Patterson, 71, of Western Avenue, Canonsburg, died Sunday, November 29, in her home, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Patterson was a member of Payne AME Church, Canonsburg, and the Missionary Society of the church. On November 14, 1947, she married Duwayne Patterson, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Duane A. Patterson of Washington and Thomas L. Patterson of Canonsburg; one daughter, Karen Patterson of Baltimore, Md., three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Patterson, Duwayne Edward Patterson and Tamura Stokes; one great-grandson; one brother, William P. Bullard of the state of California; and one sister, Nancy Guinn of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Deceased is a sister, Florence Spencer. Services and interment were private.
