Janet Rose Manning, 71, of Claysville, died Saturday, December 19, 1998, in Washington Hospital. She was a member of Roadside Chapel. Surviving are a son, Blair Manning of Allentown; a daughter, Catherine Diane Manning Davis of Claysville; a sister, Dorothy Dunkle of Washington; a brother, William H. Manning of Washington; seven grandchildren, Christopher Manning, Donna Krugh, Linda Ketter, Janet Barr, and Joseph, Thomas and Tammie Davis; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Russell E. Walter was her caretaker and companion for 40 years.
