Alice Anderson, 83, formerly of Brocton, N.Y. and Washington, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 1998, in Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility, Jamestown, N.Y. Mrs. Anderson was a cook in the Washington area, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Washington. Her daughter-in-law, Beulah Swatsworth of Brocton, was her caregiver. Deceased are a son, Orville Leroy Anderson; two brothers, John and Ralph Nesselroad; and three sisters, Mabel Nesselroad, Daisey Hartzel and Marie Staley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Lind Funeral Home in Jamestown is in charge of arrangements.
