Zeata E. Vactor Miller Smith, 84, of Washington, died Thursday, December 17, 1998, in Washington County Health Center. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Paul AME Church, Washington. She was retired from Western Center, where she worked in the laundry department. She was last employed at the Washington County Courthouse. She attended Washington High School. Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Hope Dillard of Washington, D.C.; a stepdaughter, Marsha Crooks of Washington; two grandsons, Reginald Sherron and Calvin Sherron; six great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, William Miller; a daughter, Gladys Miller Sherron; four sisters, Emma Smith, Gladys Bush, Virginia Booker and Bardella Williams; and three brothers, Robert, Harold and Orville Vactor.
