Helen Wasik, 73, of Burgettstown, died Tuesday, December 22, 1998, in Vencor of Pittsburgh, Oakdale. Mrs. Wasik was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church of McDonald. Surviving are her husband, August Wasik; three sons, Charles Cook and Ronald Wasik, both of Cherry Valley, and Lloyd Cook of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Marjorie Cook Wasik of McDonald and Jessie Cook of Cherry Valley; nine grandchildren; a brother, Chester Ginosky of Illinois; and a sister, Genevieve DiNino of Cherry Valley. Deceased are her first husband, Fred Cook, who died in 1951; two brothers, Charles and Zigmund Ginosky; and a sister, Stella Rakoz.
