Dorothy M. Crumrine, 87, of Washington, died Friday, December 25, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Crumrine was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church since 1939. She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and Fairmont (W.Va.) Business College. She worked at J.C. Penney Co. as a cashier and bookkeeper for 20 years. She was a member of the Washington Chapter 409 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Washington AARP. On June 8, 1939, in Winchester, Va., she married Elmer J. Crumrine, who died September 17, 1997. Surviving are a sister, Elizabeth Burson of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, David Plants; and a sister, Dora Dague.
