Daniel Grubich, 94, of Eighty Four, died Thursday, December 24, 1998, in his home. He worked for many years as a coal miner and was a member of the UMWA. Mr. Grubich was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Morrison Ritchie American Legion Post 613 and the LOOM 172, both of Finleyville. He enjoyed reading and spending many hours with his books. Surviving are two brothers, Harry Grubich of Eighty Four and Fred Grubich of Coraopolis; and several nieces and nephews.
