James J. Caslow, 73, of Fayetteville, formerly of McLean, Va., died December 26, 1998, at home. Mr. Caslow started his career as an electrical worker with General Electric in Baltimore, Md., after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. During 24 years of service, he traveled to Iowa, Missouri and New Jersey with General Electric before joining Reliance Electric in Hammond, Ind., as plant manager. He was later transferred to the Washington, Pa., service center as plant manager, retiring after almost 20 years of service. He traveled extensively as a consulting engineer with both companies. Mr. Caslow was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1599, both in Chambersburg, and Greene Township Lions Club International. Surviving are his wife, Cecelia L. Caslow; two daughters, Laura C. Bulle of Garden City, N.Y., and Jama C. Wolfkill of Baltimore, Md.; three sons, Timothy J. Caslow of Kingsville, Md., Jonathan A. Caslow of Savannah, Ga., and Martin P. Caslow of Middle River, Md.; two stepsons, Scott Smith of Pittsburgh and Daniel R. Smith stationed in Korea; and nine grandchildren.
