Lucy Emma Claffey Fuchs, 90, of Beech Street, Washington, died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 1998, in Washington Hospital. She had been ill since November 16, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide Society. On November 6, 1931, she married Harry Claffey, who died in 1938. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lou McCann and Jo Ann Simms, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Gregory Simms, Lisa Lytton, Lou Ann LeVan, Joel McCann, Jonathan Simms and Billie Jo Mance; and seven great-grandchildren.
