John Keron, 71, of Washington, died Sunday, December 27, 1998, in Washington Hospital. He was a member of First Christian Church of Washington and attended Washington schools. Mr. Keron worked at Hazel Atlas No.1, Brockway Glass and Washington High School. He served in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II. On December 19, 1959, he married Mary Jane Phillips, who survives. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Karen Lee Fleissner of Washington; two brothers, Rudy Keron and Robert Keron, both of Washington; four sisters, Helen Roupe and Mildred Strnisha, both of Washington, Mary Slavakosky of Gainesville, Fla., and Margaret Williams of Houston; three stepgrandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
