Dolores Nopwaskey, 69, of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Nopwaskey was a lifelong resident of Fredericktown. She was a graduate of East Bethlehem Township High School and a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church of Fredericktown. Mrs. Nopwaskey was a cook and waitress for many years at Bartoletti's Hotel in Fredericktown. Surviving are four daughters, Joanne Orris of West Brownsville, Mary Ann Leasure of Carrollton, Ga., Bernadette Nopwaskey of Fredericktown, and Pamela Copland of Idabel, Okla.; four sons, James Nopwaskey of Clarksville, William and Thomas Nopwaskey, both of Fredericktown, and George Nopwaskey of Franklin, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, John George Nopwaskey, who died in 1985; and a grandson, Austin Nopwaskey, who died June 27, 1997.
