Gaylord Freeman Hess, 68, of 150 Hickory Street, Washington, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Surviving are a brother, Dallas Hess of Washington; a sister, Tanis Nakutis of Daisytown; two half sisters, Darlene Gallagher and Marian Markley, both of Douglasville, Ga.; a half brother, Chester Hess Jr. of Streetsboro, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be private. Greenlee Funeral Home, Beallsville, in charge of arrangements.
