Doris Marie Hughes, 68, a three-year resident of West Alexander, formerly of Pasadena, Calif., died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, in Ohio Valley General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Hughes was a 1948 graduate of Claysville High School. She owned and operated a flower shop in Pasadena prior to her retirement. She was Christian, and enjoyed gardening and cooking. On March 14, 1958, in Washington, she married James L. Hughes, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Fred, Dan, Tim and James; two daughters, Pennie and Lonna; three brothers, Frank, John and Bill Eastham; a sister, Louise Deitt; and several grandchildren.
