Jack B. Scopel, 59, of Burgettstown, died Friday, December 4, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Scopel was president of Apolo Construction Co. in Eldersville. On June 25, 1958, he married Virginia Garcia, who survives and with whom he celebrated their 40th anniversary. Also surviving are three sons, Jack A., Jay A. and Jeffrey A. Scopel, all of Burgettstown; a daughter, Susan Scopel Salvadori of Burgettstown; seven grandchildren, Jack A. II, Jason A. , Lee Ann, Kristen and Samantha Scopel and Derek and Melinda Salvadori; and a sister, Catherine Scopel Pasquale of Joffre.
