Oliver N. Herrington, 92, of New Eagle, died Sunday, December 6, 1998. He retired in 1968 from Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela. Mr. Herrington was the oldest member of the Arros Haymakers Association 2531/2 of New Eagle and was a retired member of the New Eagle Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are a daughter, Olive DePaoli of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Gary Kossel, Tanya Becker, Barry Lindley, Tara Latorre and James Miller; and nine great-grandchildren. Deceased are his wife, Marie Rollison Herrington, who died October 10, 1980; a daughter, Dolores Lindley; a brother, Wilbur Herrington; and a sister, Lillian Hanson.
