Frank J. Tworzydlo, 75, of National Pike, Richeyville, died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 1998, in Washington Hospital. A retired coal miner, he worked for J&L Steel Corp., Vesta No. 5 Mine. From 1942 to 1945, during World War II, Mr. Tworzydlo served with the U.S. Army 180th Infantry, 45th Division, in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany. He received the Bronze Star. He was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville, United Mine Workers of America 762, Centerville American Legion Post 705 and Centerville Sportsman's Club. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Velcheck Tworzydlo; a daughter, Karen Mucho of Washington; three brothers, John Tworzydlo of Algonac, Mich., Walter Tworzydlo of Richeyville and Robert Tworzydlo of Strongsville, Ohio; two sisters, Genevieve Brandenburg of Warren, Mich., and Jean Zurro of MaComb, Mich.; and two granddaughters, Bethany and Laura Mucho. Deceased are a brother, Joseph Tworzydlo; three sisters, Frances Barthalovich, Josephine Glista and Mary Wecoski; and a son, Frank Andrew Tworzydlo, who died in infancy.
