Joseph W. Holub, 62, of Taft Street, Washington, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, December 7, 1998, in Washington Hospital, following a two-year illness. Mr. Holub was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Washington. He recently retired as a bartender at the Independent Political Club of Washington. He was previously employed at Westerncraft of Bellflower, Calif., Idaho Pipe and Concrete of Nampa, Idaho, and Penn Manufacturing of Washington. He was a member of the Arms Club, Alpine Club, Independent Political Club, Anawanna Hunting and Fishing Club and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 22 of Washington. In 1957, he married Marguerite R. Silcott, who is deceased. In 1975, he married Linda L. Vester Trussell, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Joseph W. Holub Jr. of Avella; three daughters Brenda J. Bonato and Wanda L. Cape, both of Washington and Joy L. Hoffman of Toledo, Ohio; two stepsons, Mark and John Trussell, both of Washington; seven grandchildren, Christy S., Matthew J., Damian J. and Amanda J. Holub and James L. and Andrew J. Hoffman and David J. Green; and three stepgrandchildren, John and Anna Trussell and Chris Roupe. Deceased is a sister, Helen Juanita Buckmaster.
